6" Cleaver

I've been using this cleaver to break down butternut squash for soups, and the thick spine gives me the confidence to really lean into the cuts. It handled a particularly hard winter melon without any struggle.

Handled a full rack of pork ribs and a butternut squash in one go without any blade flex. The heft feels perfectly balanced in my hand, not too heavy to control. Exactly what I needed for breaking down tough cuts and hard squash.

That spine is thick enough that I stopped worrying about bones dulling it—went through a rack of ribs in one steady press. It's heavier than my old chef's knife, but that weight is exactly what I wanted for hard squash and coconut.
