Gourmet 5" Spreader

I wasn't sure I needed a dedicated spreader, but the serrated section makes cutting a fresh bagel without tearing it a breeze, and it handles cold butter straight from the fridge smoothly.

Butter straight from the fridge used to tear up my bread, but this spreader glides right through it, and that serrated section works surprisingly well on a crusty baguette too. I've used it for jam and peanut butter without switching tools.

The serrated edge on this spreader is surprisingly useful for cutting through a bagel before slathering on the cream cheese. It glides through butter right out of the fridge too, which is a huge time-saver in the morning.
