The WÜSTHOF Two-Stage Hand-Held Knife Sharpener is safe and easy to use.

  • Place the sharpener on a flat work surface and hold the E-Z grip handle with one hand and the knife handle with the other. Insert the knife blade fully into the slot at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener and pull back a few times to sharpen.
  • After setting the knife's edge with the carbide side, use the unit's ceramic side to nicely finish the edge.
  • This sharpener is designed to sharpen a knife at 14 degrees per side.

George T. ★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised how securely the E-Z grip handle kept everything stable—no slipping at all. My chef's knife cuts through tomatoes like butter now after just a few passes.

Brian ★★★★★

Pulled out my dull chef’s knife and ran it through the slots a few times—now it slices through tomatoes like butter. Surprisingly easy to keep steady on the counter with one hand, so I didn’t worry about slipping.

Ellie ★★★★★

The E-Z grip handle made steadying it on the counter feel completely natural, and the two-stage setup gave me a proper edge in under a minute. My dullest chef's knife sliced through a tomato like it was new again.
